Feature Project: Wilson

The whole interior of the home (2 floors) was redesigned with a new layout. A custom designed kitchen, powder and family rooms completed the main floor. A new staircase leads to multiple bedrooms upstairs and a second level addition above the garage. This addition includes a large master bedroom with vaulted ceiling and custom bathroom en suite.

The Wilsonʼs came to us in 2008 with a set of drawings from another architect and with a budget in mind. Quickly we realized that the drawings and budget were not in sync with each other. The architect drew up another set of plans that was simpler and more cost-effective but still not in tune with the budget.

Artisan requested the opportunity to design the renovation based on the Wilson’s vision for the home and their budget.

The design process went smoothly and moved quickly to permit applications. While they wrestled with moving or staying and renovating, the designs were revised to meet all the criteria for them to stay.

In the end, the entire home was remodeled with an open concept main level and a master suite was added to the second level. The Wilsonʼs could not be more happy with their new home!
