Carlisle Facelift

This client had a poorly built family room that was lacking proper insulation and was also closed off from the rest of their home. They were looking at pictures on our website of previous projects and were pleased with what they saw and proceeded to use us as both their designer and contractor. Wanting to update the look of their home with a rustic feel we designed a gable for the front of the home to accentuate the front entrance as well as make more interesting roof lines. The siding was replaced with a combination of board and batten natural pine siding on top of manufactured stone. To bring an updated but still rustic feel to the interior we removed old paneling and replaced the flooring with a hand-scraped hardwood throughout the entire main level. We also added pot lights to enhance the atmosphere in the family room. Loving to entertain friends and family in their backyard we created an outdoor extension of their living space. Their pool was existing, but had the landscaping renewed. An impeccable covered porch that boasts an inlaid cedar vaulted ceiling was built where the poorly built family room used to sit.
